In 2005 the Life Science Foundation sponsored
three dialogue events focused on the application of intuition in health
care, science, education, business, and sustainability.
The first event in the series
was held May 7, 2005 on the Foundation’s
beautiful property in Excelsior, MN. Outstanding leaders, primarily
from the Twin Cities Metro area, were invited to converse, explore, and
imagine intuition’s influence in their personal lives and professional
fields.
Two more Conversations About Intuition summer
and fall events were held at the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota
Landscape Arboretum, respectively. Topics included
how intuition can be used in health care settings
the role intuition plays in the acquisition of knowledge
the historical exploration of consciousness
intuition’s influence in scientific discoveries
and applications
intuitive leadership
how intuition can be represented successfully by the media.
At the Fall 2005 event, leaders participated in a
collective intelligence exercise focusing on a proposed conference.
Their suggestions are being considered in the formulation of a 2007 Symposium.
The Life Science Foundation expresses gratitude for all those who gave
their time, energy, and ideas to these events.
